We're providing skip hire services to Southampton City Council this Christmas to make waste disposal for residents living in large blocks of flats convenient and hassle-free.

TJ Waste will enter a pilot battery E-bag trial in a bid to reduce the risk of fire at waste recycling centres. TJ are collaborating with Barnbrook Systems and Flair, who designed an E-bag system utilising temperature-sensitive smart fabric.

Gosport’s Community Skip Scheme, which is operated by TJ Waste, has now collected 500 tonnes of waste from the borough’s residents. The scheme brings skips to seven community locations, enabling residents to dispose of their bulky waste easily, responsibly and free of charge.

TJ Waste recently donated a skip to NSTC Lion - a registered charity providing training to young people in the local area - to help them clear their premises.
