TJ Waste was called in to provide waste management assistance after an area in Gosport flooded recently, resulting in widespread damage to residents’ homes.

TJ Waste has secured a contract extension to continue providing waste management services for Gosport’s Community Skip Service, which was launched in May 2023.

TJ Waste provided waste management services for the Retro Rides Weekender. This is the third year running that TJ has served this event and it once again went smoothly!

TJ Waste donated a 12 yard skip to Southampton charity, Mayfield Nurseries, to capture all the waste generated at a recent volunteer day.

TJ Waste donated a skip to a local community centre to assist them with a clearance project they were undertaking to free up space and get the centre back in good order.

TJ Waste’s Materials Recovery Facilities site foremen have received basic mental health awareness training to equip them in being able to identify potential issues with staff and partners in the industry.

TJ has signed a contract with Adusia, creating a new partnership that will see them exporting up to 10,000 tonnes of Refuse-Derived Fuel in 2024 on TJ’s behalf. 

TJ Waste is the headline sponsor for the Portsmouth Coastal Waterside Marathon 2023, which is taking place on Sunday 17 December. This sponsorship involves many elements and sees our team providing a range of support.

TJ Waste hosted a visit from the Leader of Gosport Borough Council, Peter Chegwin, at their Portsmouth Materials Recovery Facility recently, along with the team of council officers involved in the hugely successful Community Skip Service.
