TJ Waste Operations Manager Jason Strudwick celebrated 10 years with TJ Waste & Recycling on 11th August! The occasion was marked with a gift presentation, awarded by Operations Director, Jamie Higgins.
Jason was presented with a congratulatory letter and paid meal at the Ivy, Chichester, for him and his partner.
Jason joined TJ in 2014, coming from a management role in the aggregate industry. He brought with him experience of heavy plant machinery and HGVs and put his knowledge and experience to good use.
As Operations Manager, Jason is responsible for the safe running of TJ’s four Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs), which are dotted along the south coast at Southampton, two in Portsmouth and one at Yapton. His remit covers quality control, staffing and maintenance.
Jason is primarily based at Tipner MRF, but travels regularly between all four MRFs to oversee operations at the different sites. He ensures that he’s available for any staff who need his input on something and he’s always looking for ways to ensure the smooth running of the facilities.
