Nationwide skip hire service continues to flourish

TJ Waste launched a nationwide skip hire service in 2019 and since then we’ve been working to grow this service, building up a network of reliable suppliers across the country.

Many of our customers are based in the south west and southern regions, but some also operate nationwide, so being able to rely on us to organise their skip hire needs regardless of location is extremely beneficial.

Our growing network enables us to provide reactive, reliable skip hire services to our customers wherever their projects are taking place throughout England.

Our in-house skip hire service is operational throughout Hampshire, as well as parts of West Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. Outside of these counties, TJ has been building relationships with a range of reliable suppliers to ensure we can manage our client’s waste disposal needs, even if they’re outside of our core area.

The reason this service is hugely advantageous to customers who have an account with TJ is because it enables them to order all their skips through TJ, rather than having to set up separate accounts with different companies in a number of different regions.

TJ has secured preferential rates with these suppliers to ensure that customers are still getting the best prices possible and excellent value for money. The fact that TJ manages the process from start to finish takes all the pressure off the customer, so they can simply submit their request and the rest is done for them, free from any hassle.

TJ recently employed a new team member, Dylan Aldridge, Transport Coordinator Assistant, whose main purpose is to assist in the growth of the nationwide skip hire service.

Dylan said: “I do a lot of work for TJ’s nationwide skip hire service, taking care of any requests that come in for jobs outside of our core area. I work with our network of approved third party suppliers to organise the jobs on the clients’ behalf to ensure they get the skips they need, when they need them. I want to help expand this service so I’m doing all I can to achieve that goal.”

Customers who are interested in this service should get in touch to submit their request and we will take it from there. We’ll need to know the project location, the size of skip needed (we can advise on this), how long it is needed for and when it’s required. We will contact multiple suppliers from our contacts list in that area to secure the best price and then communicate the best quote and details of availability to the customer. Once the customer accepts the quote, we’ll do the rest.

We will be the customer’s sole point of contact and we’ll stay in touch with the supplier to manage each step and ensure it all goes smoothly. We’ll communicate with the customer via email (and phone if required) about delivery and collection dates, ETAs on delivery day and to provide the waste transfer note after the skip has been removed and the waste disposed of.

TJ customer John Pateman said: “I’ve used TJ skips a couple of times now outside their operating area. Both times it has been a really easy experience, with only reputable third party companies used. Skips have arrived on the prearranged date, and on the one occasion when the skip couldn’t be collected on the planned day, the TJ team phoned me, providing regular updates and promptly resolved the problem. Thank you for your excellent full skip management service; I shall be using you again very soon.”

This service is open to all – existing TJ account holders, new commercial customers and all domestic customers, so please get in touch to find out more or to request a quote.
