Bordering the New Forest in Hampshire, Hythe Quarry is home to our sand and gravel supply which is a much-needed construction aggregate to the local construction industry. In a region highly regarded for its mineral deposits, Hythe produces a gold/brown sand and gravel which is ideal for construction projects in Southampton, Winchester, Bournemouth and surrounding areas. 

The quarry produces two aggregates – sand and ballast, which are available at different times as the dig progresses. The sand has many uses across all industries including construction (for blinding, bedding, general fill, mortar and plastering), agriculture and golf courses. The ballast is ideal for onward screening/washing, bedding and drainage fill.
