David from Stubbington had carried out several garden projects over the past few years and the side of his house had become a bit of a dumping ground for all the unwanted materials and waste. Keen to have a clear out, David did some research into local skip hire companies and TJ came up trumps.
David said: “I was really impressed by TJ’s website. I looked at several local skip hire websites and TJ’s offered the best user experience by far. I was able to read through the different skip options, make an informed decision about which size would suit my needs and then got a quote within a few minutes.
When I phoned to confirm something over the phone, the lady on the phone was friendly and helpful and gave me additional information. Once I’d made the booking, I received a confirmation email and emails throughout the process to keep me informed.”
David needed a skip to dispose of all his garden waste leftover from a few projects that he’d carried out. This included concrete and rubble from a raised pond that had been removed and broken up, paving slabs that have been pulled up to make way for turf, and lots of green waste from a garden clear out that took place in the autumn. David also took the opportunity to clear out his garage as well and added various packaging and old materials left over from recent DIY projects to the skip.
David’s house is situated on a main road so the driver had to ensure he was in a safe place to unload the skip onto the driveway without disrupting the flow of traffic. The driver was very efficient in the delivery of the skip and placed it exactly where the client requested it to be placed. This was all done quickly and with ease.
David ordered a 6 yard skip after finding out about the different size options. He said: “I was torn between going for a 6 yard and 8 yard skip, but went for the 6 yard based on the information I read on the website about the amount it would hold. It was the perfect size, once all my waste was in there it was full. It was great that I could put mixed waste in there; everything from rubble to branches to cardboard and even an old upvc door!”
David came away from the experience a happy customer following a smooth service from start to finish. Hiring a skip meant that endless trips to the tip were avoided, the waste only had to be lifted and shifted once, and all the waste was able to be taken away in one go.
David said: “We booked the skip on the Thursday and it was delivered the following day which was great. We kept the skip for two weeks and had pre arranged the pick-up date and it was whisked away without us even noticing. Great all-round service!”
