SKIP HIRE
At TJ we offer a range of skips to suit every requirement, from 2 yard right up to 35 yard! Check out our skip hire pages for details of the capacity and dimensions of each skip size, along with helpful videos that will make choosing the skip you need quick and easy.

Our standard skip hire period is up to 14 days, but if you book a short hire of 4 days or less, you can enjoy a 5% discount at the time of booking. We also offer ‘skip exchange’, whereby you can opt to have your full skip taken away and replaced with an empty one at your convenience, which is ideal for longer projects with larger volumes of waste, giving you a constant waste disposal option on-site.

NATIONWIDE SKIP HIRE
We operate nationwide skip hire that enables us to provide a reliable skip hire service to all of our customers, regardless of where you are in the UK. Our core in-house skip hire service is offered throughout Hampshire, as well as parts of West Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. Outside of these counties, we have been building relationships with a range of reliable suppliers to allow us to successfully manage our client’s waste disposal needs wherever you are.

The biggest benefit of this service is that it allows our customers to continue to work with us, even when working further afield. You won’t have the hassle of finding a new waste management company to partner with and you can even continue to use your TJ trade account to pay for your skips wherever they are!

GRAB HIRE
Grab hire is a quick and convenient way of taking care of both commercial and domestic waste. Our drivers are skilled at accessing properties and premises and can be on and off site in less than half an hour. What’s more, as the waste is taken away immediately, it’s not cluttering up your property or site for days or weeks after you’ve discarded it.

Grab hire can be utilised for a number of different waste types including hardcore, soil and green waste, making it suitable for commercial construction, groundworks and landscaping jobs. It’s also ideal for domestic projects such as significant house renovations, large-scale landscaping and driveway renewals as it makes light work of removing large volumes of waste quickly and easily.

Our fleet of grabs are readily available meaning you can book one as quickly as the next working day if you wish. Prices start from just £150 so it’s a really cost-effective way to get rid of your waste!

COMMERCIAL WASTE MANAGEMENT
Every business has to manage their waste but it’s often something that can become a time-consuming chore. It’s imperative to stay on the right side of the law and companies are obliged to comply with the Environmental Protection Act 1990, which requires you to safely contain and legally dispose of any waste produced from your business.

We can help! As waste experts, we’ll come up with a plan, tailored to the needs of your business and take care of it all for you. Similarly, we can also deal with single elements of waste management if that is all you need – it’s really up to you, and we’re happy to work with you to find the right solution for your business.

THIRD PARTY TIPPING
We offer commercial customers a tipping service at our three state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facilities located at Portsmouth, Southampton and Yapton. Our facilities are equipped with bespoke plant and software, and run by skilled staff, allowing us to divert waste from landfill, avoiding the expensive tax associated with it and saving you money.

Using our facilities couldn’t be easier, simply drive on to the weighbridge and we will guide you from there. We charge by weight (tonne) with a  ½ tonne minimum, and you can pay by cash, all major credit/debit cards, or open a credit account.

Your safety is a top priority, so to use our facilities you will be required to wear full PPE; hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots. Please be aware that tipping on a commercial basis will require a waste carrier’s licence. Read our Guide to Tipping to find out more…

EVENT WASTE MANAGEMENT
Events usually result in large volumes of waste being generated and it’s important to manage it well to maintain a tidy site during the event, and a speedy turnaround afterwards. We’ll evaluate the event according to its size, duration and location, and propose a plan for the best waste management solution. You can choose to take up the full service or individual elements to suit.

Our service comprises: the supply of eurobins for waste collection during the event, well-placed skips for consolidating the waste, staff to empty the bins regularly and litter pick as necessary, skip and bin removal at the end of the event, and post-event site clearance if required.  

HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT
As a responsible waste management company, we go above and beyond to ensure that all hazardous waste is handled, transported and disposed of in the correct manner to ensure safety and avoid any detrimental environmental impact.

We work with a number of partners to ensure that each type of waste is directed down the correct routes for safe end disposal. We can assist you with the following waste streams: WEEE, asbestos, contaminated soil, offensive waste and hazardous liquids – please get in touch to find out more.
