Here’s what Alex, our skip hire expert, has to say about the 8 yard mega skip: “This 8 yard mega skip is perfect for bulky yet lightweight waste. It’s commonly used for commercial refits or large household clear-outs, and holds the equivalent of 60 to 80 bin bags.”
TJ Waste’s 8 yard “mega” skip is ideal for bulky yet lightweight waste and lends itself to use in a wide range of commercial, industrial, and domestic scenarios.
The 8 yard skip can accommodate approximately 60-80 bin bags, depending on the type of waste you are disposing of and offers optimum value and convenience, whatever project you’re working on. It’s important to note, however, that skips of this size are not suitable for heavy loads, such as soil as it will make the skip too heavy to be lifted once full.
At TJ Waste we are committed to delivering the highest possible standard of service and we aim to make hiring an 8 yard skip across the South East of England easy and affordable. When your project is complete and you are finished with the skip we will remove and dispose of your waste efficiently.
For further information about hiring an 8 yard skip, to get an obligation-free quote, or to discuss your waste requirements further, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our expert team is always on hand to provide assistance and advice.
Our skip deliveries are carried out between 7am and 6pm unless a specific time slot has been confirmed in advance. Once you’ve booked your skip, you will receive an email from us confirming all the details and providing a contact for any further queries you may have. The skip delivery will usually take between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on your location, accessibility etc.
Whilst we will always endeavour to meet your time requirements, we are unable to guarantee time slots so please don’t bank on it arriving early in the morning. If you definitely need the skip in the morning, we suggest booking it to arrive the day before, or opting for our priority delivery, whereby we will guarantee its arrival by midday for an additional charge of £35.
If your property has limited access or the area that the skip will be going is tight, please consider your availability to be present on the date of delivery. Be sure to let us know ahead of time so we are expecting this and can be prepared for it.
If you need to keep your skip on the road, we will purchase a permit on your behalf. Please be aware that road permits usually take 5 working days, but can take up to 7 working days to obtain, and last for 7 days.
